Platform Overview

Digitally Monitored Proportioner Platforms

Digitally monitored spray foam proportioner platforms incorporate electronic monitoring systems that allow operators to observe machine performance in real time during spray operations.

These systems monitor A-side and B-side pressures, heater temperatures, hose temperatures, and material flow rates. Operators can detect pressure changes, material feed problems, and system performance issues early — helping prevent off-ratio spraying and reducing troubleshooting time during production.

We offer multiple digitally monitored platform options including the Graco Reactor 3 series and PMC Premiere, each with different monitoring levels, heater wattage packages, and connectivity capabilities.

Why Monitoring Matters
Off-ratio spray foam — caused by pressure imbalance, material feed problems, or temperature issues — cannot always be detected visually. Digital monitoring systems provide operators with real-time data to identify system changes before they affect foam quality.
Proper chemical conditioning and storage temperature play a critical role in consistent foam performance. Learn more about material temperature, storage conditions, and shelf life in our guide to spray foam material conditioning and storage.
Machine Performance Comparison
Spray foam proportioners move material through the system in cycles. The Graco Reactor 3 E-30 uses approximately 36.8 cycles per gallon. The PMC Premiere uses approximately 16 cycles per gallon. Fewer cycles per gallon improves efficiency during continuous high-volume production.

Graco Reactor 3 Digital Platform

The Graco Reactor 3 platform is a digitally monitored spray foam proportioner system designed to provide real-time operational visibility during spray operations. Integrated sensors monitor A-side and B-side pressure, heater temperatures, hose temperatures, and material flow.

Operators can observe machine performance in real time, helping detect pressure imbalance, material feed interruptions, or temperature variations before they affect foam quality.

Reactor 3 platforms are available in Standard, Pro, and Elite configurations with monitoring levels ranging from onboard diagnostics to full cellular connectivity through the Reactor Connect platform.

PMC Digital Proportioner Platform

PMC digitally monitored proportioner platforms include the PMC Premiere and PMC Mach-2 systems. These machines provide real-time monitoring of spray foam production parameters including pressure, temperature, and material flow.

The PMC Premiere platform offers strong heater capacity and extended hose capability, making it well suited for mobile rigs operating long hose runs and demanding production environments.

The PMC Mach-2 introduces a horizontal pump design capable of supporting higher output and multi-gun spray operations. Lower cycle counts per gallon improve pump efficiency and durability during continuous production.

Digital Monitoring & Control

Digital Monitoring & Control Systems

Reactor Connect remote monitoring featuresPMC Premier remote management
Pressure Monitoring
Real-time A-side and B-side pressure display. Pressure imbalances can indicate material feed problems or pump issues before they affect foam ratio.
Temperature Monitoring
Heater block temperatures and heated hose temperatures. Temperature data confirms material is within the manufacturer's processing range.
Material Flow Monitoring
Available on Pro and Elite platforms. Flow rate data provides additional confirmation of proper material delivery.
Independent Hose Heat Control
Separate control of heated hose zones allows precise temperature management across full hose length.
Remote Monitoring (Pro/Elite)
Cellular connectivity on Pro and Elite platforms allows machine data to be viewed remotely via Graco Reactor Connect mobile app.
Diagnostics & Data Export
Machine operating data can be exported for job documentation. Elite and Premiere platforms include advanced integrated diagnostics.

Lower cycle counts per gallon reduce pump wear and improve efficiency during continuous high-volume spray operations.

Generator Matching

Generator Upgrade Requirements

Important — Machine Upgrades Affect Generator Requirements
Machines with higher heater wattage packages require larger generator platforms to operate at full heater output. When selecting a machine upgrade, the generator must be sized appropriately. Undersized generators limit heater performance — affecting temperature stability during long hose runs and colder production environments.
E-30 Standard (10 kW)30 kW generator — base configuration
E-30 Pro (15 kW)40 kW generator upgrade recommended
E-30 Elite (15 kW)40 kW generator upgrade recommended
PMC Premiere (18 kW)40 kW generator upgrade recommended
Generator upgrade options: 40 kW Tier-4 diesel or 50 kW Tier-4 diesel are available. Screw compressor/generator combo units are also available, combining electrical generation and rotary screw compressed air into a single integrated power platform.
