What Is a Turnkey Spray Foam Rig
A turnkey spray foam rig is a complete mobile polyurethane processing system that is ready to operate from the moment it arrives at a jobsite.
The term "turnkey" means the contractor does not need to source additional equipment, build additional systems, or make additional purchases before beginning production. The rig includes everything required to spray foam safely and consistently.
- A turnkey spray foam rig includes:
- The full spray system (proportioner, heated hose, spray gun, transfer pumps)
- Electrical power platform (diesel or gas generator, shore power inlet, distribution panel, interior lighting)
- Compressed air system (compressor, refrigerated dryer, air manifold)
- Chemical handling (drum racks, drum dolly, desiccant drum dryers, spill containment)
- Workstation (countertop, cabinet storage, bench vise, flush pot)
- Safety systems (two-worker supplied air, PPE starter kit, eyewash station, fire extinguisher, first aid)
- One full day of hands-on contractor training
SprayWorks turnkey rigs are designed so contractors can pull onto a jobsite, connect the hose, and begin production without sourcing any additional equipment.
The term "turnkey" is used loosely in the equipment market. Some rigs described as turnkey do not include safety systems, adequate air drying, or matched generator/heater configurations. When evaluating any rig described as turnkey, verify that safety equipment, air drying, and properly matched power systems are included.
